FC DRIVE offers four levels of instruction and competition based on age, skill, and commitment:

Select Program:  36 week program designed to develop the U07 - U14 competitive soccer player driving each to the next level and ensuring continued enjoyment of the sport.

Premier Program:  41 week program for the committed player wishing to achieve success at the highest levels of the sport.  This is a skills development program combined with intense year-round competition.

Academy: an introductory 36 week program for the younger player (U06 - U08) using a structured, disciplined approach emphasizing fundamental skills, mental focus, teamwork, and enjoyment of the sport.

Chicago Youth Soccer Program (CYS):  an entry level 23 week program for the U09 - U14 first time player or recreational player wishing to have training with experienced coaches and travel league games yet is not ready to commit to winter training and away tournaments.

Program Details

All programs except Premier

FALL (13 weeks; August 13 - November 10) and SPRING (10 weeks; April 1 - June 9)

  • Two 90 minute practices weekly on TURF surfaces (Academy:  60 minutes each)
  • Conditioning Camp: Montrose Beach, August 27-August 31, 4:30-6:30pm, every day, every player
  • 18 weekend league games (excludes Academy)
  • Specialized foot skills, speed/agility/quickness, and goalkeeper clinics

WINTER (13 weeks; January 2 - March 28)

  • One 90 minute practice weekly on TURF surfaces (Academy:  60 minutes; excludes CYS)
  • Specialized foot skills and goalkeeper clinics

Premier Program

FALL (15 weeks; July 30 - November 10) and SPRING (10 weeks; April 1 - June 9)

  • Three 90 minute practices weekly on TURF surfaces
  • 18 weekly league games plus State Cup games in Spring
  • Three tournaments (local, regional, national)
  • Specialized foot skills, speed/agility/quickness, and goalkeeper clinics

WINTER (16 Weeks; November 26 - March 31)

  • Two 90 minute practices weekly on TURF surfaces
  • One weekend league game
  • Specialized foot skills and goalkeeper clinics

Fields

Outdoor practice and game fields: Montrose and Foster TURF (at Lake Shore Drive)

TURF fields maximize training results by providing predictable ball movement for skill development, safe surfaces for injury reduction, and quick drainage to eliminate cancellations.
